A Sweet Addition
Will and I are so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby girl this August.
July has been the month of nesting! Lately, my mind has been completely consumed by all things home: interior design, creating a cozy atmosphere, and preparing our space for the little girl who will be joining us so soon.
These June mornings have not disappointed. There is something so peaceful about stepping into a day that begins with soft fog, glowing blue skies, and sunlight slowly making its way through the clouds.
Flowers, gardens, and sunshowers.
This month has been made up mostly of ordinary days, with a couple fun weekends mixed in.
“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.”
I found myself needing a little creative inspiration today.

This entry is a bit longer than usual as I spend some time diving into this year’s goals and direction.
He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
As the days grow shorter, Will and I have been trying to spend as much time outside as we can before winter settles in.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
This month I’m seeking quiet, slow rhythms, and community.
