November

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
— Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

Good Morning

As the days grow shorter, Will and I have been trying to spend as much time outside as we can before winter settles in.

This past Saturday, we took the pups to Red River Gorge for a hike and a slow drive with the windows down. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more vivid fall scene. A landscape of glowing oranges, reds, and yellows that felt like walking through a painting. I’m sure the photos from that day will find their way into future paintings.

God’s Word & My Own Thoughts

This has been a season of renewal and humility. The more I read Scripture and apply it to my own life, the more I realize how much I still have to learn and how much I still need to surrender.

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
— Psalm 27:13 (NIV)
