Good Morning

I found myself needing a little creative inspiration today. Maybe it’s the long stretch of January behind us, or simply a craving for more sunshine, but the start of this month feels a bit directionless to me. So this morning I spent some time scrolling through Pinterest, gathering a few pieces of life-giving inspiration to share here with you today. When in doubt, Pinterest, right?!

Besides the pops of color I’ve been using in my new landscape pieces, I’ve been drawn to simple creamy neutrals lately. And since Louisville is still blanketed in snow, I figure I might as well lean into it and embrace the last of the winter season. Warm candlelight in the mornings, lattes in bed (or wherever), and the quiet moments spent watching the ice slowly thaw on the windows are just a few grounding comforts I’m enjoying right now.
